The Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Blue Ridge Knights to 26 in the Broncos league triumph on Monday.
The Broncos now possess a 6-18 record. They play next when they host Arthur-Okaw Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Cerro Gordo/Bement will confront a Conquering Riders team coming off a 48-22 league win over Urbana University (Urbana, IL). The Conquering Riders record now stands at 18-5.
With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 0-15 on the campaign. The Knights host Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL) to confront the Timberwolves in a Lincoln Prairie game on Thursday, February 6. The Timberwolves go into the game with a record of 1-23. Okaw Valley lost 75-6 in their recent league game against Sullivan (Sullivan, IL)
