The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) and the visiting Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), observed WestSide's basketball team knock off Bluefield by a score of 56-37.

The Renegades (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against River View (Bradshaw, WV). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, River View prevailed over Mount View (Welch, WV), 63-27, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Beavers encounter the Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Bluefield will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 44-39 non-league loss to South Charleston (South Charleston, WV).
