The Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) basketball toppled the host Carroll County Panthers (Carrollton, KY), 52-37 in Monday's league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Oldham County for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Owen County will play a Colonels team coming off a 83-41 non-league win over Christian Educational Consortium (Louisville, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 9-11.
With the loss, Carroll County falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Panthers host Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY) to play the Wildcats in a District 31 bout on Thursday, February 6. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 12-8.
