The Manila Lions basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Cedar Ridge Timberwolves to 49 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now possess a 20-5 record. They play next when they host Osceola for a 3A Region 3 game on Thursday, February 6. Manila will confront a Seminoles team coming off a 59-57 league loss to Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Seminoles record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Cedar Ridge falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Cotter (Cotter, AR) to confront the Warriors in a 2A Region 2 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 10-12. Cotter lost 46-23 in their recent league game against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)
