In Monday's non-league contest, the host Centerville Big Reds/Redettes basketball team scored a big 70-49 triumph over the Central Lee Hawks.
The Big Reds/Redettes (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Indians go into the South Central contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Clarke was trounced by Creston (Creston, IA), 60-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Central Lee will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 42-25 non-league win over Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA).
