The Kansas Comets basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Colcord Hornets to 26 in the Comets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Comets now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Salina for a Five Lakes game on Tuesday, February 4. Kansas will play a Wildcats team coming off a 44-26 non-league loss to Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Colcord falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Westville (Westville, OK) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 12-6.
