The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Fordland Eagles (Fordland, MO) and the host Conway Bears (Conway, MO), observed Fordland's basketball team overwhelm Conway by a score of 53-20.

The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gainesville (Gainesville, MO). The Bulldogs go into the Summit bout with a 5-11 record. In their last bout, Gainesville crushed Laquey (Laquey, MO), 31-29, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Conway falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Climax Springs (Climax Springs, MO) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Climax Springs lost 69-33 in their recent non-league bout against Richland (Richland, MO)
