With the victory, Fairview advances its record to 4-18 on the year. The Eagles host West Carter (Olive Hill, KY) to meet the Comets in a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. The Comets enter the battle with a record of 7-13.

The Wildcats now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, February 4. Hannan will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 75-14 league loss to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-9.
