The Fort Frye Cadets were victorious over the visiting Union Local Jets basketball squad by a final score of 54-34 in Monday's non-league contest.
The Cadets (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV). The Maroon Knights come into the non-league contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Wheeling Central Catholic defeated St. Marys (St. Marys, WV), 73-60, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Jets battle the Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) in a Buckeye 8 contest, on Thursday, February 6. Union Local will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Big Reds come into the contest with a 17-4 record after their 72-45 non-league loss to Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV).
