The Gallatin County Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Trimble County Raiders to 37 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Walton-Verona for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Gallatin County will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Trimble County falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Raiders host Henry County (New Castle, KY) to confront the Wildcats in a District 31 game on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 1-20. Henry County lost 60-45 in their recent league game against Eminence (Eminence, KY)
