North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE), 44-38 in a non-league match.

With the victory, North Bend Central upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Knights enter the match with a record of 17-2. Oakland-Craig won 51-30 in their recent non-league match against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE)

The Jaguars now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Twin River for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11.
