The Ovid-Elsie Marauders basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting New Lothrop Hornets to 39 in the Marauders league triumph on Monday.

The Marauders now have a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Birch Run for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Ovid-Elsie will confront a Panthers team coming off a 40-32 league win over Byron (Byron, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, New Lothrop falls to 13-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lakeville (Otisville, MI) to confront the Falcons in a Mid-Michigan game on Thursday, February 6. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 10-6. Lakeville lost 41-29 in their recent league game against Durand (Durand, MI)
