In Monday's league contest, the host Rockwood Rockets basketball team scored a close 38-31 win over the North Star Cougars.
The Rockets (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA). The Highlanders come into the non-league contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Cambria Heights was tipped by Penns Manor (Clymer, PA), 54-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams (Confluence, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 5. North Star will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 55-41 non-league loss to Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA).
