Nebraska High School Basketball - Pierce victorious over O'Neill

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Pierce Bluejays basketball team scored a good 55-47 triumph over the O'Neill Eagles.

The Bluejays (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Clarkson/Leigh was topped by Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE), 51-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. O'Neill will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 9-10 record after their 53-32 non-league loss to Crofton (Crofton, NE).
