Next, the Tigers encounter the Jefferson Lions (Jefferson, OR) in a 3A PacWest test, on Friday, February 7. Taft will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 16-4 record after their 66-36 league win over Willamina (Willamina, OR).

The Eagles (7-14) will now prepare for their test against Scio (Scio, OR). The Loggers come into the 3A PacWest test with a 7-15 record. In their last test, Scio was routed by Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR), 32-16, in a league test.
