The Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Weatherly (Weatherly, PA), 63-11 in Monday's league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tamaqua for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. Williams Valley will play a Blue Raiders team coming off a 44-39 league loss to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Weatherly falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The travel to Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA) to play the Green Wave in a Schuylkill County 2 bout on Wednesday, February 5. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 1-19. Nativity BVM lost 74-12 in their recent league contest against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA)
