Chino Valley Cougars (Chino Valley, AZ) fans went home pleased Monday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host Camp Verde Cowboys (Camp Verde, AZ), 44-21 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ). The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Yuma Catholic trounced Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ), 54-16, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cowboys encounter the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Camp Verde will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record.
