Fans at Monday's league battle between the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) and the host Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA), saw Palisades's soccer squad knock off Westchester by a count of 5-2.

The Dolphins (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers enter the Western battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Venice tipped Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Comets battle the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western battle, on Wednesday, February 5. Westchester will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 6-0 league loss to Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA).
