Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Berkshire School nips Avon Old Farms

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Berkshire School Bears ice hockey team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Avon Old Farms Beavers.

The Bears (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Canterbury School (New Milford, CT). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Canterbury School got by Winchendon (Winchendon, MA), 5-3, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Beavers battle the Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT) in a contest, on Wednesday, February 5. Avon Old Farms will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Martlets enter the battle with a 8-8 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA).
