Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers (Moncks Corner, SC), 49-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Calhoun Academy advances its record to 14-2 on the year. The Cavaliers host Clarendon Hall (Summerton, SC) to face the Saints in a match on Tuesday, February 4. The Saints enter the match with a record of 0-3.
The Cavaliers now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dorchester Academy for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. St. John's Christian Academy will face a Raiders squad coming off a 78-32 league loss to Faith Christian (Summerville, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 6-10.
