The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD) and the host High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD), observed DuVal's basketball team overwhelm High Point by a score of 67-16.

The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Parkdale was routed by Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD), 72-35, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. High Point will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record.
