The West Carteret Patriots basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Richlands Wildcats to 46 in the Patriots league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Dixon for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Richlands falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host White Oak (Jacksonville, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 7-2. White Oak won 52-30 in their recent league game against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC)
