Fans at Monday's league battle between the Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA) and the visiting Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA), saw Apple Valley's soccer squad knock off Burroughs by a count of 3-1.

The Sun Devils (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sultana (Hesperia, CA). The Sultans enter the Mojave River battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Sultana tipped Hesperia (Hesperia, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Burros battle the Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA) in a Mojave River battle, on Wednesday, February 5. Burroughs will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Diamondbacks enter the battle with a 3-17 record after their 4-1 league loss to Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA).
