California High School Soccer - El Rancho held off by Santa Fe

The Santa Fe Chiefs edged the visiting El Rancho Dons soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Monday's league game.

Next, the Chiefs face the La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) in a Del Rio game, on Wednesday, February 5. Santa Fe will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 5-15 record after their 1-1 non-league Downey (Downey, CA).

The Dons (11-8) will now prepare for their game against Whittier (Whittier, CA). The Cardinals enter the Del Rio game with a 1-14 record. In their last game, Whittier was nipped by California (Whittier, CA), 2-1, in a league game.
