In Monday's league outing, the host IDEA Quest College Prep Trailblazers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the IDEA Weslaco Pike Mavericks.
The Trailblazers (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Monte Alto (Monte Alto, TX). The Blue Devil go into the 4A Region 4 District 31 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Monte Alto was edged by Progreso (Progreso, TX), 9-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Mavericks confront the Idea Academy Titans (Donna, TX) in a 4A Region 4 District 31 outing, on Saturday, February 8. IDEA Weslaco Pike will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Titans go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 6-0 league win over Raymondville (Raymondville, TX).
