Fans at Monday's league battle between the Wilson Wildcats (Dallas, TX) and the visiting Spruce Timberwolves (Dallas, TX), saw Wilson's soccer squad knock off Spruce by a count of 3-0.

The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Pirates enter the 5A Region 2 District 14 battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Poteet tipped Samuell (Dallas, TX), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Timberwolves battle the Seagoville Dragons (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 14 battle, on Friday, February 7. Spruce will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX).
