Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI) boosters went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI), 60-53 in a league contest.

The Tigers (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland (Cumberland, WI). The Beavers go into the Heart O'North contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Cumberland was tipped by St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI), 60-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Comets confront the Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI) in a Heart O'North contest, on Friday, February 6. Cameron will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Rails go into the contest with a 1-16 record after their 72-24 non-league loss to Unity (Balsam Lake, WI).
