The Huron River Rats defeated the host Skyline Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 63-53 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the River Rats clash with the Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 6. Huron will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Railsplitters go into the game with a 15-2 record after their 62-56 league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, MI).
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI). The Pioneers come into the Southeastern - Red test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Pioneer overcame Saline (Saline, MI), 50-39, in a league test.
