The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA) and the visiting WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA), observed Winfield-Mt. Union's basketball team overwhelm WACO by a score of 54-31.

The Wolves (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Mediapolis walloped Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA), 51-49, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Burlington for a SEI - South battle on Friday, February 6. WACO will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 66-43 league loss to Notre Dame (Burlington, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 10-5.
