In Friday's league outing, the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) basketball squad beat the host Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), by a count of 55-45.
The Panthers (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans go into the 2A Conference 41 outing with a 3-16 record. In their last outing, Chase was topped by Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 110-83, in a league outing.
The Blue Devils now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Rutherford for a 2A Conference 41 outing on Monday, February 7. Brevard will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 72-46 league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-14.
