The Lunenburg Central Chargers basketball team (Victoria, VA), was overwhelmed 65-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA)
The Knights now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumberland for a James River battle on Monday, February 7. Buckingham will confront a Dukes team coming off a 64-50 league win over Bluestone (Skipwith, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 4-6.
The Chargers (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bluestone (Skipwith, VA). The Barons come into the James River battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Bluestone was overwhelmed by Cumberland (Cumberland, VA), 64-50, in a league battle.
