Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Woodland Wolverines (Dorchester, SC) and the host Burke Bulldogs (Charleston, SC), saw Woodland's basketball squad wallop Burke by a count of 69-47.
With the victory, Woodland upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Timberland (St. Stephen, SC) to play the Wolves in a AA Region 6 challenge on Monday, February 7. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Timberland won 61-51 in their recent league challenge against Lake Marion (Santee, SC)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 61-51 league loss to Timberland (St. Stephen, SC).
