The Paul W. Bryant Stampede basketball squad scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Central Falcons to 34 in the Stampede non-league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Paul W. Bryant upgrades its record to 18-9 on the campaign. The Stampede travel to Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Jaguars in a 6A Area 7 challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 21-9. Northridge lost 57-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Hueytown (Hueytown, AL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Selma Saints (Selma, AL) in a 5A Area 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 50-49 league loss to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL).
