East Lansing Trojans (East Lansing, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI), 74-69 in a league bout.

With the win, East Lansing upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Trojans host Holt (Holt, MI) to play the Rams in a Capital Area - Blue bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Holt lost 60-54 in their recent league bout against Everett (Lansing, MI)

Next up, the Warriors play the Okemos Chieftains (Okemos, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Chieftains go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 62-35 league win over Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI).
