North Carolina High School Basketball - Uwharrie Charter thwarts Eastern Randolph

The Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC), 74-60 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Warriors go into the 1A/2A Conference 31 test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Wheatmore went down by Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC), 54-45, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Providence Grove for a 1A/2A Conference 31 test on Tuesday, February 8. Eastern Randolph will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 68-48 league win over Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 15-7.
