Illinois High School Basketball - Elgin overwhelmed by Larkin

The Larkin Royals basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Elgin Maroons to 20 in the Royals league victory on Friday.
The Royals now sport a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard South for a Upstate Eight contest on Tuesday, February 8. Larkin will battle a Raiders team coming off a 57-31 league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 11-13.
The Maroons (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm come into the Upstate Eight contest with a 13-13 record. In their last contest, South Elgin was routed by Bartlett (Bartlett, IL), 72-55, in a league contest.
