The Miyamura Patriots basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Aztec Tigers to 28 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gallup for a 4A District 1 contest on Tuesday, February 8. Miyamura will battle a Bengals team coming off a 58-50 league win over Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 17-2.
The Tigers (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Bobcats enter the 4A District 1 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Bloomfield ran past Shiprock (Shiprock, NM), 42-34, in a league contest.
