Tennessee High School Basketball - Bledsoe County overwhelmed by Van Buren County

The Van Buren County Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Bledsoe County Warriors to 24 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gordonsville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 8. Van Buren County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 65-30 non-league win over Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 6-15.
The Warriors (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Indians come into the 2A District 5 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Sequatchie County triumphed over Monterey (Monterey, TN), 63-58, in a league contest.
