In Friday's league outing, the Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) basketball squad felled the host Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), by a margin of 50-38.
The Wolves (19-3) will now prepare for their outing against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs go into the AAAAAA Region 8 outing with a 19-4 record. In their last outing, Winder-Barrow thwarted Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA), 51-40, in a league outing.
The Black Knights now own a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lanier for a AAAAAA Region 8 outing on Tuesday, February 8. Central Gwinnett will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 51-40 league loss to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-16.
