The Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) basketball knocked off the host Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL), 33-15 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hornets (23-4) will now prepare for their test against Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Lions go into the 6A Area 9 outing with a 9-13 record. In their last outing, Briarwood Christian defeated Chilton County (Clanton, AL), 51-23, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 8. Tuscaloosa County will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 61-18 non-league win over Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 27-3.
