The Dodge County Indians routed the visiting Southwest Patriots basketball team by a final score of 64-28 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Indians face the Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA) in a AA Region 3 game, on Tuesday, February 8. Dodge County will attempt to move on its 18-2 season record. The Hurricanes enter the game with a 2-16 record after their 36-31 league win over Southwest (Macon, GA).

With the defeat, Southwest moves to 0-18 on the year. The Patriots travel to Bleckley County (Cochran, GA) to face the Royals in a AA Region 3 game on Tuesday, February 8. The Royals enter the game with a record of 11-10. Bleckley County won 85-55 in their recent non-league game against Telfair County (McRae, GA)
