East Kentwood Falcons (Kentwood, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI), 30-29 in a league bout.
With the win, East Kentwood upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Falcons host Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Hudsonville won 55-37 in their recent league bout against Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Grand Haven Buccaneers (Grand Haven, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout, on Tuesday, February 8. West Ottawa will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 55-37 league loss to Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI).
