The Cougars now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a 1A/2A Conference 31 battle on Saturday, February 5. Southwestern Randolph will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-44 league loss to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-15.

The Warriors (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A/2A Conference 31 battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Uwharrie Charter edged Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 53-45, in a league battle.
