Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Elsie Allen Lobos (Santa Rosa, CA), 44-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Piner upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Prospectors travel to St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Wednesday, February 9. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 15-6. St. Vincent de Paul lost 48-33 in their recent league bout against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA)

Next up, the Lobos play the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 11. Elsie Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
