Colorado High School Basketball - Pagosa Springs beaten by Alamosa

In Saturday's league match, the host Alamosa Mean Moose basketball team scored a good 48-34 triumph over the Pagosa Springs Pirates.

In their next game, the Mean Moose meet the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 6. Alamosa will attempt to move on its 16-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 12-9 record after their 49-42 league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).

With the defeat, Pagosa Springs moves to 14-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Bayfield (Bayfield, CO) to meet the Wolverines in a 4A/3A Intermountain match on Friday, February 10.
