The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Altavista Colonels to 53 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rustburg for a Seminole contest on Monday, February 6. Jefferson Forest will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 61-37 league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 11-8.
The Colonels (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Dogwood contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Chatham dropped by William Campbell (Naruna, VA), 72-60, in a league contest.
