Texas High School Basketball - Arlington knocked off by Bowie

The Bowie Volunteers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Arlington Colts to 46 in the Volunteers league triumph on Saturday.
The Volunteers now sport a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Grand Prairie for a 6A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Bowie will battle a Warriors team coming off a 57-38 league win over Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 18-13.
The Colts (9-17) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Vikings enter the 6A Region I District 8 contest with a 4-22 record. In their last contest, Lamar was defeated by Sam Houston (Arlington, TX), 54-43, in a league contest.
