The East Side Red Raiders basketball team (Newark, NJ), was toppled 55-45 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Arts Jaguars (Newark, NJ)
The Jaguars now possess a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gill St. Bernard's for a non-league battle on Sunday, February 5. Arts will confront a Knights team coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Linden (Linden, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 11-4.
The Red Raiders (12-10) will now prepare for their battle against West Side (Newark, NJ). The Roughriders come into the Super Essex - American battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, West Side beat East Side (Newark, NJ), 69-68, in a league battle.
