In Saturday's league outing, the Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) basketball squad nipped the visiting White Hall Bulldogs (White Hall, AR), by a margin of 71-66.
The Panthers (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, AR). The Trojans go into the 5A South outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Hot Springs got by Lake Hamilton (Pearcy, AR), 56-50, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Bluff for a 5A South outing on Tuesday, February 7. White Hall will encounter a Zebras squad coming off a 74-60 league win over El Dorado (El Dorado, AR). The Zebras record now stands at 17-6.
