The Russell Rustlers basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Billings Senior Broncs to 56 in the Rustlers league victory on Saturday.
The Rustlers now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belgrade for a AA Eastern contest on Thursday, February 9. Russell will battle a Panthers team coming off a 75-62 non-league loss to Gallatin (Bozeman, MT). The Panthers record now stands at 4-11.
The Broncs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bozeman (Bozeman, MT). The Hawks come into the AA Eastern contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Bozeman prevailed over Billings West (Billings, MT), 53-50, in a league contest.
